End User License Agreement
EULA for JuicePress. Covers personal and commercial use, Pro licensing, restrictions, and your rights as a user.
Effective date: March 1, 2026
This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and Aleksandr Zapparov, doing business as FreshJuice™ ("Licensor"), for the use of the JuicePress desktop application ("Application").
By installing or using JuicePress, you agree to be bound by this EULA. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Application. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Application.
1. License Grant
The Licensor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Install and use the Application on devices you own or control
- Use the Application for personal or internal business purposes
- Use any output files produced by the Application for any purpose, personal or commercial
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to process any video files you use with the Application. The Licensor assumes no liability for copyright infringement or other illegal use of the Application.
2. Free and Premium Features
The Application includes core features available free of charge for personal, non-commercial use. These core features will remain free. Premium features (such as trim, crop, watermark, and bulk compression) require a paid Pro license, available as a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Commercial use of the Application requires a Pro license. Pricing, feature availability, and subscription terms are detailed on the Pricing page and may change with reasonable notice.
3. Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Application
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code
- Distribute, sublicense, lease, rent, sell, or otherwise transfer the Application to third parties
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or marks
- Use the Application to develop a competing product
- Circumvent any licensing, access-control, or copy-protection mechanisms
4. Intellectual Property
The Application and all associated intellectual property rights are and remain the exclusive property of the Licensor. This EULA does not convey any ownership interest in the Application. "FreshJuice" is a trademark (™) of Aleksandr Zapparov.
5. Third-Party Components
The Application incorporates third-party open-source components, each subject to their own license terms. Use of these components is governed by their respective licenses. A list of third-party components and their licenses is available at License & Acknowledgements.
6. Data Collection
The Application collects anonymous usage analytics and error reports as described in our Privacy Policy. You may opt out of analytics through the Application settings.
7. Updates
The Licensor may provide updates, patches, or new versions of the Application. Updates may modify or remove features. The Licensor is not obligated to provide updates or support.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. THE LICENSOR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
THE LICENSOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPLICATION WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION, OR BE ERROR-FREE. USE OF THE APPLICATION IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS EULA OR YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
10. Termination
This EULA is effective until terminated. Your rights under this EULA will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Application and destroy all copies in your possession.
The Licensor may also terminate this EULA at any time by providing notice through the Application or website.
11. Governing Law
This EULA is governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from this EULA shall be resolved in the courts of Madrid, Spain.
12. Severability
If any provision of this EULA is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
13. Entire Agreement
This EULA, together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Licensor regarding the Application.
